

Bekir Aslaner, Ph.D.
Senior Trade Policy Consultant
He is a highly experienced expert who has worked for many years at the Ministry of Trade as an implementer and senior manager in the field of Import Protection Measures.
Bekir Aslaner served as Deputy Director General of Imports, where he was responsible for overseeing trade policy measures including anti-dumping, countervailing, safeguard and surveillance measures, as well as anti-circumvention instruments. He also held the positions of Head of Department, Chief of Section and Case Handler at the Safeguards Department.

Having started his public service career in 1992 as an Assistant Foreign Trade Expert, he played an active role in hundreds of investigation proceedings.

He represented Türkiye abroad as Commercial Counsellor at the Turkish Embassies in Beijing and Barcelona.
​
Following his public service career, he assumed senior roles in the private sector, including General Manager of Çukurova Technopark, Secretary General of İTKİB Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Associations, Vice President and Board Member of AYTİM Textile and Foreign Trade Inc., and Corporate Consultant at Ketenci Law Office.
